Joe Camilleri: Australia’s Maltese Falcon is a new feature length documentary that traces Camilleri’s Maltese background to Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons to the rise of The Black Sorrows to now, including the 2011 making of The Black Sorrows’ stunning collectors edition of Crooked Little Thoughts 3CD/Book set.

Featuring over 35 songs with rarely seen concert footage from across many aspects of Camilleri’s music career, this is a fascinating and an intimate portrait of the man and his passion for music.

The highlight of the north’s exciting fun-filled Ord Valley Muster, the Kimberly Moon Experience, happens this Saturday 2nd June. The banks of the majestic Ord River will be home to some of Australia’s greatest musicians, including The Black Sorrows. This unique event at the Jim Hughes Ampitheatre will feature, alongside The Sorrows, Paul Kelly & Kasey Chambers.

Audience members are invited to bring a rug, picnic hamper and esky or indulge in the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle with fine wines and a delicious sit-down dinner by one of Western Australia’s most dynamic chefs, Don Hancey.

If you can’t make it to the Kimberly region, be sure to check out The Black Sorrows, at the Victoria Hotel in Darwin before they Outback trek is made.
