Black Sorrows’ new CD, CROOKED LITTLE THOUGHTS out late 2011

Fresh from a month off, Joe and The Black Sorrows are keener than ever to get back on the road. Not only will this July see The Sorrows kiss their loafers goodbye, but it will see them finally farewell the recording studio after a summer (and more) laying down tracks for the new Black Sorrows’ CD, Crooked Little Thoughts.

Crooked Little Thoughts spans three CDs and features a great bunch of new tracks that draw on the depth of Joe’s experience and influences. On listening you can hear a smattering of The Falcons, the classic country flavoured Sorrows circa 1990 and a good dollop of Camilleri’s years of loving the blues.

Leading off with tracks like the rockin’ Money Talkin’ and A Fool and the Moon, a duet of Camilleri and Coogan, Crooked Little Thoughts takes the old school approach LP lovers will embrace – each of the three discs not being over filled leaving you ready for more.

Joe and the band will be bringing their new sound to a town hall or bar near you soon, so if you love The Sorrows or just love great live music there is a lot to look forward to in 2011!

“The Black Sorrows will never be a heritage act as for us there’s no finish line. The heart and soul of The Sorrows still beats loud and clear.” Joe Camilleri
